"I drink and drink but my mind only seems to become more sober. I lay my head against my pillow at night and the fog in my head seems to fade away. My mind will only play what my heart refuses to see. I am constantly alone in my thoughts, and no one can save me."

These thoughts will be the end of me, y.g. (via imtiredofbeingsosad)

Anonymous asked: I am interested to know exactly what you are fighting for? The truth of the matter is there are no 'Last real Indians', unfortunately they have all been killed, brutal as it is, it was the modern age surpassing the stone age. American Indians in the present day and largely mixed and hardly entitled to a racial identity. Stop segregating yourselves from society and play the game like the rest of us.

lastrealindians:

Indigenous ways are far more advanced than so-called civilization. Long after the western empire fails we’ll still be here. It took y’all a mere 200 years to bring the planet to the verge of destruction. Meanwhile Natives lived in balance with Earth for thousands of years and she took care of us.

Come to the Rez, in our treaty lands, and tell all us Last Real Indians we don’t exist. You’re blinded by your own ignorance.

We fight for our children. We are taught to think ahead 7 generations and do what’s best for them. They deserve clean water and unpolluted lands. They deserve to be content, and healthy. Our ways are beautiful and we continue them so future Natives can pray where they are meant to, speak their language, know who they are, and perform ceremonies that keep harmony within the Universe.

Your society wants everything, including us. There is nothing you have that we want. Think about that.

Out of all the years of hardly knowing my dad, all I wanted was just to understand.
